A beary nice Halloween

bear.gifAlthough the little guy is too small to appreciate Halloween, he still got to enjoy a dose of pumpkins, orange, costumes and some treats on his first Halloween. The teachers in his creche class organized a party complete with streamers and all manner of orange and black decorations; pumpkin plates handpainted by the infants; and with us parents, infants and adult-sized treats.

Calvin thoroughly enjoyed snacking his way through several Sesame Street crackers while partially costumed as a bear. (It was too hot and I a little tardy from a meeting to make it worthwhile wresling him into what would have been a matching brown, velour onesie.) Some of his fellow crechemates did Halloween proud though, with one as a little dog and the other as Piglet -- her older brother was in his classroom dressed as Eyeore!) It was the bear hat debut and sadly, we managed to lose it on the way home -- Calvin now being more excited and able to both dress and undress himself!
