Portrait of a family

Last weekend I focused on one important 'To Do' that had been on my list for the past three months -- to shoot some family portraits. My mom was dispatched on a mission to a particular shop in the Garment District, and less that $3.00 later, we had our makeshift 'seamless' bacground.

With the aid of a shower rod and cutain, and one well positioned window (there's a reason why many guests have called it one of New York's bathrooms with the best view!), and the home studio was ready to go.

Representatives of three generations of my family were under one roof -- even the chair dates back to my paternal grandmother who dies before I was born. She custom ordered a series of these and they're still going strong! Take a look at the Flickr photoalbum by clicking here to see the results.
