We had Calvin's one year appointment today. It went well, with him getting the thumbs up on all fronts from his doctor. FYI, he weighs 25lbs, is 31 inches high and has a head circumference of 47cms. He also endured his two immunizations very well. Of course he cried, but was soon over the experience and had fun with the stickers he received.

Ironically, we were telling his doctor that he does lots of gestures but doesn't seem interested in waving goodbye. This evening when we were saying goodbye to his teachers and creche mates, what do you suppose he suddenly decided to do? Yup, wave.

Our little guy is also adding another tooth to the eight already out. This time it's a molar, so is a little painful, but he is handling it well.
