Calvin is starting to talk, a little at a time. Of course he has been babbling to us for ages and it's just we who don't get it. But in addition to "mama" and "dada", may we present "nanana" (banana to the uninitiated), "da-da!" (water) and the latest item to the vocabulary, "cracker." As least it seems like he won't starve as he's learning words for food and drink!
