It’s particularly enjoyable to review and relive the joys of the summer as autumn strides in accompanied by crisp days and falling leaves. One of our highlights was some time spent on Fire Island over the Fourth of July long weekend.
One holiday highlight was catching a large, blue stone crab in the bay.
Fire Island is a long chain of barrier islands off Long Island in New York. The villages range from gated to fishing focused, to haute gay-ture to family fabulous. Our favourite is the village of Fair Harbour — click here to follow the pixel trail.
