One of the things I miss most about living in New York is my own personal patch of dirt. There’s nothing more honest and rewarding than spending time tending to all things green and growing. So my admiration and appreciation for those private green spaces — and their stewards — I get invited to enjoy is great.
So I am thrilled to invite you to get out the vote for our friend’s Michele’s garden (seen in the photo I swiped off her entry). It’s one of the entries in The Greenest Thumb contest. So make your vote count for this piece of metropolitan bliss! Click here and vote gold.
You can see what other intrepid New Yorkers have been doing with their gardens, here. I think my favourite one otherwise is Dave’s Mighty Grass. (The name alone invites a click, right? Plus Dave knows his winning element: a frog.)
