Calvin was supremely fortunate this summer, as were we, to get to spend substantial time with both his grandmothers. And in more than one location: Bobo came from South Africa and then the entire family went to Ohio to stay with Grammy, and after Bobo went back home, Grammy came to New York and stayed with us for a week. Needless to say, we were all thoroughly spoiled, with the extra pairs of hearts and hugs to go around, not to mention the home cooked cuisine!
