According to reliable sources, the past few weeks in the Western Cape have been characterized by typical winter storms sweeping in over the ocean and mountains and deluging the region. The results include the closing of roads due to rain and resulting rockfalls, and more stop than start on work on our roof.

But in the period that there has been good weather, great quality progress has been made. And, care of our dear friend GK, are some stills of the latest silhouette. The unusual rooflines, “There’s a bunch of different planes and geometries talking to each other,” as Jay just eloquently put it. From what we understand, it’s causing quite a bit of interest in the town.
