increases in both usership (average year-on-year growth of 60%) and revenues.
• E-commerce: Implemented overwhelmingly successful e-commerce pilot project,
which established trusted trading e-relationship with the site's 60 000 unique
business users. The project netted tens of thousands in online sales and generated
in excess of R1 million in related offline retail outlet sales.
• Online evangelism: Implemented a process of change management to spread
the word and vision of the Internet throughout the organization. The process
was extremely successful in securing buy-in and ownership of the online assets
and brand.
• Strategy: developed cohesive strategies, funding, human resources, related
policies and management team to drive online asset development
• Contracting: negotiated third party contracts with providers.
