A bonus from last week was that I got to see my mom, brother and sister-in-law. When you live 7,970 miles (or, to make one feel even worse, 12,827 kilometres) away from your family, that’s something precious indeed. In addition to hanging out, talking up a storm and eating some delicious home-cooked fare, we also sampled the goods on offer at 44 Stanley Road, specifically at coffee shop, ‘Bean There.’ Thanks to DK for snapping the moment.
