There is more progress to report from the cliffs of Walker Bay. These images taken by our friend GK, show the foundations all prepared and ready for municipal inspection. They passed the inspection, so the cement mixer you see in the photos, was put to good use in mixing and chiurning the concrete for the foundations.
Our architect has confirmed that not only have the foundations cured, but that bricks have been delivered and that, when last he and the builder spoke, the rythmic “clink” of bricklaying was the pleasing background noise.
Can’t wait to see further progress, and can hardly believe that there will be walls when we next see the site in person!
